Tim McGraw - One Of These Days vs Mark Wills - Don't Laugh At Me
This song always makes me thinking. It's a beautiful and sad at the same time. He tells the story about the past when he treated people badly and now he realizes that it was a huge mistake and one of these days they could've been good friends. This song appeals to me because I think that Tim McGraw really means it, I can feel the sadness in his voice. It's beautiful and it takes my breath away every time I listen to this song.
Phrase of the song:
One of these days you're gonna love me
You'll sit down by yourself and think
About the times you pushed and shoved me
And what good friends we might've been
And then you're gonna sigh a little
Maybe even cry a little but
One of these days you're gonna love me
Phrase of the song:
One of these days you're gonna love me
You'll sit down by yourself and think
About the times you pushed and shoved me
And what good friends we might've been
And then you're gonna sigh a little
Maybe even cry a little but
One of these days you're gonna love me
Other song that comes to my mind is "Don't Laugh At Me" by Mark Wills. Another very meaningful, kinda of sad and beautiful song. It's about bullying, making fun of other because the're different. The point is don't laugh at them. This song makes me think about the way people treat each other. Why people are so cruel? I don't really understand why some people humiliate other and how it makes them feel better about themselves.
I think, no I know that if people would listen to more songs like these, not that popular music crap, world would be a better place, people would be nicer to each other. But, no they want to listen songs with simple/stupid lyrics and electronic noises that they call music, which as a matter of fact ain't music.
Phrase of the song:
Don't laugh at me
Don't call me names
Don't get your pleasure from my pain
In God's eyes we're all the same
Someday we'll all have perfect wings
Don't laugh at me
I'm fat, I'm thin, I'm short, I'm tall
I'm deaf, I'm blind, het, aren't we all?
